John Kerry may just win the award for Idiot of the Year™, for the following statement.

You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.

And this man wanted to be Commander In Chief? What a duchebag! And yes, I do question his patriotism!

***UPDATE III***  Mrs. Miller's Time (a Democrat) and I were just watching Hannity & Colmes interview John McCain.  She commented what a bummer it was that just when the Democrats were doing well, Kerry puts his foot in his mouth.  I mentioned that the momentum had already started to turn and when she questioned me about this I commented - "Maybe their train was only slowing down, but Kerry just slammed on the emergency brake."
